Come for lunch. Don’t make plans for 4pm. Seafood, steaks, oysters and cocktails arrive with the beach a few steps away, dogs are very much invited, and ordering one more round feels entirely reasonable until you realise you’ve been sitting there for three hours.

“Start with oysters, then order the lobster roll or steak frites for the table. Bring the dog — they get their own menu, with everything from chicken breast bowls to a Wagyu woof stack.”
