A steakhouse that commits to its 1920s Chicago fantasy without forgetting the food. Butcher & Still has deep leather booths, a terrific old-school bar and American beef cuts with real presence. The 99% lump crab cake makes a persuasive opening act; follow it with a rib-eye or porterhouse and leave room for the towering Tribune Tower chocolate cake. Even a drink here feels like a small occasion.
