Noor: Festival of Lights at Souk Al Seef

Souk Al Seef

7–8 November · 6pm–11pmFree entry

"Two nights of light on the Creek: diyas, bazaar stalls and live Indian music."

Noor returns to Souk Al Seef for its third edition on 7 and 8 November, from 6pm to 11pm, free to attend. Giant light installations and floating diyas line the water, with bazaar stalls, live Indian music, folk performances, puppet shows, poetry and rangoli stations along the promenade.

Come for a wander rather than a timetable. It is two nights only, and the Creek deserves more than a quick photo on the way to the fireworks.

“Leave time for the puppet shows and bazaar stalls. The smaller attractions shouldn’t have to compete with things exploding overhead.”

“Two nights only, 7 and 8 November, running 6pm to 11pm. Arrive before sunset to see the diyas lit along the water, and expect the promenade to be busy after 8pm.”
