Chef’s Society has completed its opening at City Centre Mirdif, bringing ten dining concepts together on the first floor. Expect Levantine cooking, Japanese dishes, Roman pizza, dim sum and more. Let's dig in.
What Can You Eat?
Come hungry. Agreement on a cuisine is optional.
Bait Maryam brings chef Salam Dakkak’s Levantine home cooking, REIF Japanese Kushiyaki handles modern Japanese dishes, and Bonci supplies Gabriele Bonci’s Roman pizza. ATHAR By the Qlab pairs Emirati food with speciality coffee.
New arrivals include Anara, led by chef and MasterChef India judge Kunal Kapur; Ying Ji Dim Sum, serving chef Lin Deshan’s handmade dumplings and pulled noodles; and Slab, where chef Omar Rodrigues combines global street-food influences with seasonal ingredients.
The Matcha Tokyo, My Cookie Dough and Beurre round out the ten with drinks, desserts and patisserie. Nobody needs to agree on lunch. A second stop for something sweet should be easier.
“For Mirdif, the useful part is having several reasons to go out for dinner without first heading across Dubai.”
How Should You Plan It?
Pick your lunch, then leave room to be distracted. Chef’s Society brings several restaurants together, each with its own menu and personality.
Come for a family meal, an after-work dinner or a catch-up with friends on this side of Dubai. A matcha-and-pastry stop counts too. Nobody is checking your commitment.
Check the individual venue before heading over. REIF Mirdif lists hours of 10am–11pm Sunday to Thursday and until midnight Friday and Saturday. Bait Maryam is first come, first served.
One address. Several menus. Different house rules.
