Summersalt is back, reopening on 28 September with beach access, pool days and a perfectly reasonable excuse to let lunch occupy most of your afternoon.
This is a seasonal return, not a reinvention. No need for one, really. The draw is still Latin American food beside the water, with Burj Al Arab making a fairly substantial contribution to the view.
Lunch or the Full Lounger Treatment?
The beach club opens at 9am, so you can settle in well before lunch. The restaurant starts serving at 12.30pm and stays open until midnight. Beach access ends at sunset, but that doesn't mean dinner has to.
The menu moves through ceviches, tiraditos, tacos, sushi and grilled dishes. Seabass ceviche, lobster tacos, grilled octopus and a Wagyu sando give you options beyond ordering another salad because you happen to be wearing swimwear.
“The weekend ticket is cheaper upfront, but not necessarily the cheaper day once lunch arrives.”
Beach-Pass Maths
The booking rates list Monday to Friday at AED 650 per person, with AED 250 redeemable on food and drinks. Saturday and Sunday are AED 600 (no redeemable credit).
That makes the weekend ticket cheaper upfront, but not necessarily the cheaper day once lunch arrives.
