Okay, not central Dubai, but absolutely worth the drive.
Hatta Resorts reopens on Monday 28 September 2026, bringing mountain stays, hiking, biking and Hatta Wadi Hub’s outdoor adventures back for season nine.
This is more than a post-summer restart. Two restored heritage trailers have joined the line-up, two Premier Lodges now have private plunge pools and the existing stays have had a refresh.
Camping-adjacent, perhaps. Your private plunge pool suggests otherwise.
Meet the Heritage Trailers
The two new arrivals have more history than your average glamping pod.
The 1958 Coach spans just over 23 square metres and sleeps two, with a queen bed, sofa, Wi-Fi, TV, mini-fridge and air conditioning. Outside, a private barbecue area awaits ambitious grilling and the inevitable charcoal dispute.
The smaller Route 1948 dates back to 1948. Its 15.4-square-metre interior also sleeps two, with a queen bed, seating area, Wi-Fi, TV, fridge and air conditioning.
They look vintage. The comfort level does not. Nobody is asking you to recreate post-war road travel.

Two Premier Lodges Now Have Private Pools
Two of the seven Premier Lodges now have private plunge pools. Ideal for couples or small groups who enjoy nature most from temperature-controlled water.
The resort has also refreshed interiors, furnishings, seating and landscaping, creating more places to sit, admire the mountains and do absolutely nothing.

What Is Happening at Hatta Wadi Hub?
Hatta Wadi Hub returns with hiking, mountain biking, rope courses, ziplines, Drop In water slides, archery and more outdoor ways to test the family group chat.
Hours, age limits and prices vary by activity. Check before promising one child a zipline and another the pool.
New season-nine activities are coming, but details remain under wraps. We will save the excitement until we know what they are.
Ultra Trail Dubai follows in November, with more sporting events still to be announced.
What Else Is Coming?
Caravan Hatta by Our Habitas is due later this season, overlooking Hatta Dam with trailer stays, a restaurant, pool and communal spaces.
It's not part of the 28 September reopening. “Coming this season” does not mean “bookable next weekend”.
Who Should Book It?
Choose a heritage trailer for a two-person escape with more character than a standard hotel room.
Book a plunge-pool Premier Lodge when privacy and a proper place to cool off matter more than pretending to be rugged.
The wider resort suits couples, families and groups pairing an overnight stay with hiking, biking or Wadi Hub adventures.
A day trip works too. But once the barbecue is lit and the mountains turn orange, that 90-minute drive home starts looking badly planned.
