Jou Jou Brasserie hosts La Mesa Mediterranea on Thursday 15 October, with chef de cuisine Daniel Gallo joined by Teresa Ibanez of The Gastronomista for a one-night Spanish supper. It’s the second Jou Jou Supper Club: two chefs, a Spanish menu and no “we’ll go next week” option.
Dinner starts at 7.30pm, and the plates are for sharing. Choose your company accordingly.
“Bring someone who knows half the paella isn’t a suggestion.”
Start With the Croquetas
Bluefin tuna escabeche, Wagyu beef tartare, croquetas de cecina and gambas al ajillo open proceedings, before paella takes the middle of the table.
Then comes torrija with olive oil ice cream and Maldon salt, plus Basque cheesecake. Any declarations of fullness made before this point are non-binding.
Dinner’s Sorted. Drinks Are Separate.
Supper is on Jou Jou’s outdoor terrace, with the courses already decided. Your group chat has been relieved of menu duty.
AED 385 per person includes VAT and one welcome drink, not drinks all evening. Ask about the rest of the beverage menu when reserving.
