The children want to play. You’d like lunch somewhere that doesn’t smell faintly of socks.

Enter NESTT, a new family spot at Q East by Alphabeta in Al Quoz, pairing indoor play with a Euro-Mediterranean restaurant and espresso bar. Something for them. An actual meal for you.

Small Children, Separate Spaces

NESTT’s reported setup separates ages zero to three from four- to eight-year-olds, with slides, tunnels, balance challenges and imaginative play.

A useful distinction. Someone learning to walk shouldn’t have to negotiate with someone attempting a personal best.

Separate zones don’t necessarily mean supervised childcare, though. Check whether adults need to stay inside, especially if your children qualify for different rooms.

“A toddler finding their feet and an eight-year-old testing their speed have rather different afternoon plans.”

Lunch Gets a Seat at the Table

NESTT’s restaurant and espresso bar could give parents a reason to stay beyond “the children aren’t finished yet”. Play for them, a proper lunch and coffee for you. A promising division of interests.

Check Before Packing the Socks

Platinumlist lists AED 110 for four hours of weekday play or three hours at weekends. Confirm the price and session length with NESTT before booking.

Ask about supervision, adult entry fees and socks too. Coffee next door doesn’t automatically mean you’re off duty.
