Halloween in Abu Dhabi has an indoor home, and it is loud, air-conditioned and full of cartoon monsters. Warner Bros. World has switched on Spooktober, its Halloween season, running daily until 1 November and included with standard park entry.
Here is what is inside. We have added the event to yapped here.
A New Live Show
The headline is Scooby-Doo and the Full Moon Carnival, an all-new production on the WB Plaza stage. Scooby and the Mystery Inc. gang unravel a carnival mystery with circus acts, spooky surprises and a musical finale. Family-friendly, meaning gently spooky rather than terrifying, which is precisely the point.
Yabba-Dabba-Boo
Over 60 costumed characters roam the park in Halloween dress, headlined by the Flintstones and the Rubbles in full spooky costume for the Yabba-Dabba-Boo meet and greet. Bring a camera and lower your expectations of personal space.
Rides, Treats and Trick-or-Treating
The rides get creepy decor and spooky touches, there is trick-or-treating around the park, and the food outlets are running limited-time Halloween menus, from spooky cupcakes and creepy cookies to themed dishes in the park restaurants.
Festival of Fright
For the older brave ones, the separately ticketed Festival of Fright runs on 28 October, 8:30pm to 1am, for AED149.
Before You Go
Discounted ticket offers and multi-park deals are running through the season, so check the offers page before paying full price. And with the season ending 1 November, sooner beats later.
