Times Square Center and Wafi City have free family activities planned for Halloween weekend, with shows to catch, crafts to make and treats to collect. That costume has places to be.

Choose your visit around the activity your children are most excited about. A little timing could make you look remarkably organised.

Times Square Center: Go for the Shows

Haunted Timesylvania brings Magic Phil, stage shows, crafts, games and face painting to the Al Quoz mall from 30 October to 1 November.

Head to Picnic Square on the first floor for the main performances, with Magic Phil scheduled for 6pm daily.

For sweet collectors, the Spooky Sweet Trail runs on Saturday, 31 October, from 2pm to 4pm, taking children around participating shops. The costume competition follows on Sunday, 1 November, at 5pm. Finally, an audience for the outfit they’ve been wearing around the house all week.

“Go big on the costume. Keep the outing free.”

Wafi City: Register Before You Go

Wafi’s Halloween weekend brings games, challenges and a trick-or-treat trail, with children collecting passport stickers and treats at participating outlets. Khan Murjan Souk adds more stops to the hunt.

The costume competition runs from 4pm to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday, welcoming individuals and families of all ages. There’s room for a full family production if everyone’s willing to stay in character.

Activities begin at 4pm on Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday. Register through the official Wafi event page before visiting, particularly for the costume competition.

Go for the shows at Times Square Center or follow the trail at Wafi. Either way, the costumes are getting an outing.
