The Spirit of Mexico comes to Al Wasl Plaza at Expo City on Saturday 24 October, with six hours of music, food, performances and creative workshops.

Developed with Dubai’s Mexican community as part of Al Wasl Season, it’s open to everyone. Come curious and leave room for food.

Dinner Isn’t the Whole Plan

Expect traditional performances, live music, Mexican food and local makers, with workshops giving you something to try between bites.

Catch a performance, browse the stalls and see what takes your fancy. For families, there’s more to investigate than whether the children’s menu has chips.

“Come for the Mexican food. Leave with something you made and something you spilled on your shirt.”

What Does AED30 Cover?

AED 30 gets you in. Food, drinks and some activities cost extra, so don’t mistake it for dinner included.

Included workshops are first come, first served, while supplies last. If the children are keen to make something, head there early. “We’ll do it later” is a risky promise.

Bringing Little Ones?

Under-threes enter free. For children aged exactly three, check before buying: Expo City’s page says they’re free, but the ticket terms say they need a ticket.

Strollers must stay outside Al Wasl Plaza. If your evening depends on a buggy nap, that changes the plan.
