We already knew LEGOLAND Dubai was reopening. Now we know what will be waiting behind the gates.
The resort returns on Wednesday 7 October with a new daily MINILAND sound-and-light show, Halloween from day one and a season built around “Connecting Through Play.”
A new splash pad and redesigned LEGO-building experience are also coming later in 2026. Neither has an opening date yet, so manage your smallest project manager accordingly.
What's New at MINILAND?
MINILAND’s 20 million LEGO bricks are getting their own soundtrack.
From 7 October, a new daily sound-and-light show will bring the indoor city to life with lighting and audiovisual effects.
The display includes a 17-metre LEGO Burj Khalifa, which the resort calls the world’s tallest MINILAND model, plus Dubai Creek, Dubai Marina, Abu Dhabi, Petra, Egypt and Kuwait in brick form.
It is the biggest new experience confirmed for reopening day. Showtimes remain under wraps, so check the schedule before promising anyone a precise appointment with a tiny glowing skyscraper.
“MINILAND is ready for reopening. The splash pad and building academy are still waiting for their moment.”
Halloween Starts Immediately
LEGOLAND is wasting no time. Its Halloween programme begins on 7 October and runs until 2 November.
Expect a Brick-or-Treat candy trail, ghost hunt, spooky crafts, LEGO pumpkin building, costumed characters, monster dance parties and The Great Monster Chase 4D.
This is sweets-and-dancing Halloween, not sleep-with-the-light-on Halloween. It's designed for younger children and included with park admission.
LEGOLAND Hotel joins in with a pumpkin hunt, crafts, character appearances, Mini Monster Zumba and a pyjama party. Hotel schedules may vary, so check what's running during your stay before making pyjama-related promises.
What Is Coming Later?
LEGOLAND has more bricks in the box for later this year.
The Factory Experience is getting a rethink, while a new interactive Master Model Builder Academy will bring more hands-on building. Over at the Water Park, The Wave will add an interactive splash pad for younger children.
The hotel is also upgrading its LEGO Friends-themed rooms.
The important bit: none of these has an opening date yet.
Who Should Book It?
LEGOLAND is built for families with children aged two to 12, which is refreshingly specific.
Little builders get gentler rides, DUPLO play areas and Splash Safari at the Water Park. Older children can graduate to driving experiences, roller coasters and hands-on building, then explain why their LEGO engineering is better than yours.
Tickets are currently listed at AED 295 online or AED 330 at the gate. Food, drinks and the inevitable gift-shop negotiation cost extra.
