Global Village has confirmed its return date. You may now begin deciding which food stall everyone is “just sharing”.
Season 31 opens on Wednesday 14 October 2026 and runs until May 2027, bringing Dubai’s giant outdoor world tour back for another winter.
That gives families, food hunters and people unusually committed to winning funfair prizes a firm date for the diary. What it does not give us is the full Season 31 line-up.
Global Village has promised new and upgraded experiences alongside returning favourites. The individual attractions, pavilions, shows and food concepts are still under wraps.
Translation: save the date, but do not start promising the children a specific ride just yet.
What Is Confirmed?
The gates open on 14 October, with the returning tagline “A More Wonderful World.”
The familiar formula remains: international pavilions, street food, shopping, live entertainment and family attractions, all gathered inside one extremely ambitious evening plan.
Opening hours are also live. Global Village will run from 4pm to midnight Monday to Thursday, and from 4pm to 1am Friday to Sunday.
Tuesdays are reserved for families and women, except when they fall on a public holiday.
We are still waiting for the exact closing date in May, ticket prices, new pavilions, rides, headline shows and the all-important food line-up.
Do not copy last season’s details into the group chat and hope for the best. Global Village changes its prices, attractions, entertainment and dining offer between seasons. Season 30 information is not automatically valid for Season 31.
“Save the date. Don't start promising the children a particular ride just yet.”
Who Should Save the Date?
Families, obviously. Global Village remains one of Dubai’s easiest answers to the question of how to entertain children and feed several generations in the same place.
It also works for groups who cannot agree on dinner. One person can hunt for grilled meat, another can investigate the dessert situation and somebody else can disappear into a pavilion carrying a shopping bag nobody saw them buy.
The sensible move is to wait for the full programme before choosing your first visit. Opening week will have the newest attractions and will likely bring the biggest crowds.
Global Village has given us the date. Now we wait to find out what everyone will be queuing for.
