- What’s coming
- Restaurant, infinity pool and new Sky Lounge
TAPASAKE is aiming to reopen in mid-November, with a redesigned restaurant, a new Sky Lounge and the return of its infinity pool at One&Only One Za’abeel.
That narrows “autumn” down nicely, though there’s no confirmed date yet. You can start choosing your long-lunch company. No need to tell them they’re being shortlisted.
More Than a Pool Comeback
The redesigned restaurant will pair Japanese cooking with Mediterranean influences, with dishes made for sharing. Choose your lunch company accordingly.
Opposite the pool, the new Sky Lounge will focus on music and drinks, giving the evening somewhere to go once the swimming is done. Sunset Hospitality Group has confirmed all three elements: the redesigned restaurant, refreshed pool and new lounge.
A verified, priced menu is still to come. Returning guests should leave room for a new order rather than assuming their old favourite has survived the redesign.
“The pool is coming back. The new Sky Lounge gives you a reason to stay dry.”
Don’t Book the Day Around It Yet
The hotel’s dining page still says “Opening Soon”. An exact reopening date, service hours and reservation details remain unverified. Mid-November is the target, not yet a reason to take Thursday off.
Pool prices, access rules and any redeemable credit still need confirming. Whatever you paid last time, don’t build the day’s budget around it.
For now, TAPASAKE is one to watch for November. Once the menu and booking details land, you can choose between a swim, dinner or drinks in the lounge. A reopening is not a requirement to inspect every department.
