Dubai Safari Park reopened on 12 October, and the animals aren’t the only ones drawing a crowd.
Wildest Week runs until Sunday 18 October, adding stage shows, roaming performers, parades and a children’s activity area to the wildlife watching. It’s all included with a valid park ticket. One less thing to book, several more reasons the children won’t want to leave.
Animals First, Acrobatics Afterwards
The 15-minute family stage show runs in African Village at noon, 1.30pm, 3pm and 4.30pm, with parades at 11.30am and 5pm and roaming performers between stops.
Choose a show that fits around your safari plans. Four performances means four chances to catch it, not a parental attendance requirement.
“Pick the safari first. Fit the party around it.”
When the Bouncy Castle Wins
Little Explorers’ Base Camp runs 10am–6pm at African Village Plaza, with crafts, face painting, giant games and separate inflatables for toddlers and older children.
Keep it in mind between animal visits. You may have come for the wildlife, but someone is going to go home talking about the bouncy castle.
Choose Your Safari
The Park Pass starts at AED 50, with access to six zones, the Arabian Desert Safari and daily presentations.
For AED 117, the Safari Bundle adds the Explorer Safari Tour and unlimited park train rides. Worth weighing up if little legs tend to retire before the rest of the family.
Paid animal encounters cost extra. You can have a full day without collecting every upgrade.
Check which safaris your ticket includes before letting the lowest price decide. A bargain loses its charm if it leaves out the thing you came for.
The park recommends four to five hours. Wear comfortable shoes, bring sun protection and resist booking something straight afterwards. The children may have urgent business with a meerkat.
