DIFC’s next dinner-and-drinks spot wants you to listen up.
Atelier Kū plans to open in December on the 15th floor of Emirates Financial Towers, with a restaurant, vinyl-led listening bar and terrace. 50 Best included it in its international new-bar preview on 12 October. An early nod, not a ranking. Let it open the doors first.
More Than Background Music
The dining room promises floor-to-ceiling views; the cocktail bar goes darker, with timber, leather and low lighting.
MBL 101 X-Treme loudspeakers put the sound system firmly in audiophile territory. Your friend who insists vinyl sounds better may need a moment.
A timber-floored terrace links the spaces, with a cigar trolley planned for outside. You should also be able to come for records and cocktails without booking dinner. An interest in the next track is commitment enough.
“Come for the records. Twelve courses is a separate decision.”
And If You Do Stay for Dinner?
Chef Artem Estafev is behind the food, with a 12-course set menu and à la carte options planned. Andrey Bolshakov, creator of Insider Bar, oversees the cocktails.
Come for the full dinner or keep it to drinks and records. We’ll reserve judgement on the food, and the damage, until the menus arrive.
December is the planned opening window. An exact date is still to come.
